Oh! Ohio was fun! Lots of aunts and uncles and cousins and activity. My kids don't get to see Jeff's siblings very often, and this time it lasted 4 full days. They are such good aunts and uncles...my kids warm up to them so fast and enjoy them so much.
Let's see...we had 2 campfires, fishing on a pond, Great-grandma's 90th birthday party (180 people signed the guest book!), swimming at the community super-pool, pizza 2 nights in a row, running on a bike trail, lightning bug catching, late bedtimes, early wake ups, dog surgery, cake...lots and lots of cake.
It was a blast. And I'm scared to step on the scale this morning.
Now...to get ready for South Carolina. Next Friday...8 days from now -gulp-...we will be leaving for another long car trip. To Kiawah!
By the way...when we got home last night, we put the kids to bed SUPER early. Like, lights out at 7:05. Michael just woke up (6:30), and Lily and Andrew are still sleeping. I swear they sleep later when they go to bed earlier. I SWEAR!
