SSC: Week 1

Half days, since Andrew is still in school. Kind of breaking ourselves in.

Take a Trip Tuesday: Go strawberry picking at the farm down the street.

Wet n Wild Wednesday: Get soaked (from pre-school science activity book)...basically experimenting with what absorbs water, what doesn't. Child picks 12 items and lines them up. Uses squirt bottle to squirt each of the 12 items. Find out which absorb water. Great for including Michael...he loves those squirt bottles. ;)

Thursday cooking (since there was no Monday): Frozen banana pudding (from kid cookbook). Andrew picked this one out of his recipe book. We'll see how it tastes. ;)

Friday Craft Day: Silly pictures...Cut pictures out of magazines of people doing ordinary things...walking in the park, etc. Then find pictures of animals or bugs. Cut the heads of the pictures out and paste on top of the people's faces in the original cut out pictures. Voila! Silly pictures!
