We had the same thing here. A few days of "flue-like symptoms" followed by pneumonia. Fortunately the antibiotics and neb worked quickly and we saw a vast improvement in 24 hours. Hope the same for you guys!

Oh no! So sorry! I had pneumonia as an adult and it was miserable - poor little guy!
SO SORRY. You were good to get him checked out early, so it didn't get worse. I'll be thinking of you!!
